Anonymous asked: Just saw your comment asking who I was. My name is Brandon. I apologize for asking under "anonymous". I do have a tumblr account, its just I haven't used it in months and lost my username and password. I have a Whose Line facebook group called "Whose Facebook is it, Anyway?" which Ron West and Jeff Davis actually joined. </shameless plug>
hah that’s cool! Well no wonder you can come up with good questions. I’ll check out your page after work tonight :)
(seriously I just want to talk about this question for ever)
So my question back to my followers: which 4 would you put together in your dream Whose Line lineup?
deliveredfish asked: Bleh my answer sent before I finished typing and Chip's named turned into Cho. I was going to say "either Brad or Chip as 4ths." Honestly I don't see anything wrong with the standard three and rotating fourths, I just wish the fourth person was more involved with games and was truly treated like an equal to the rest.
This last sentence is why I fucking hate Greatest Hits
This is indeed fact.
And I don’t know. I know a lot of rumors and things about Dan Patterson and his quirks and the like, and so I highly doubt it. But it was definitely interesting and different. ANd, you know, hilarious.
I especially enjoyed it because I always love when Greg and Jeff work together. Little bit outside the norm of the usual parings, but they are one of my favourite pairings.
I could go into a whole thing about this, but I won’t. This shit ain’t about me.
Dear anon, I am dying to know who you are. This question was actually on my mind for quite a long time at work today so you’ve invaded my brain with a really unique question and I already like you.
My new answer, and to keep it short:
I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the TV industry from basically ever; I was obsessed with TV ratings and all that stuff growing up. However, with the internet there’s a lot more stuff for industry nerds like me to devour with focus group info detailed ratings more/easily accessible cast/writer/showrunner/director/producer/etc interviews. But I feel there’s a clear reason why in the US version there was much less variety on a given show than compared to the UK version and we’ll probably just never know all the specifics even if anyone was to ask as to why you’ve got time and indifference going against you. I think while it would be a really popular with the big fans, I don’t casual viewers will enjoy it. I mean, fuck, they’re still bitching about the fact Aisha is hosting and not Drew. The last thing we need is “WHY DID THEY REPLACE COLIN WITH THAT GUY”. I’m already kind of worried about Sunday’s episode airing, because I only remember hearing Aisha saying specifically that Greg was filling in for Ryan during one of the openings, and for the other(s) unless that’s dubbed in the internet is going to be full of pissed off people.
